Had a long day yesterday so playing a bit of catch up i did get some pics ready , i didnt take many so this is the main pic of all the conventioneers!! .. and some interesting odd shots of same ..lol ..

"ramblings of a tired pippa addict"
well another year and a wonderful pippa convention, made very special to me by this group of women of a certain age who should know better!
I had a bad Friday on a personal level .. lost something which was dear ..or i thought was
it had been a long long week working to get me and convention dolly ready and packed..i was tired but on a high!!
my lovely room buddy Claire arrived and we set off for Stratford driven by me lovely hubby .. he is so good to me .." I am so lucky!!" i have been told!

I made a descision and my Big chief sitting pippa also made a descision i was not to paint faces as i get caught up for a lot of the day and miss out socialising ..
so i chilled! and chatted and socialised and it was so lovely not rushing about , heaven
we all said hello my name is ***** i am a pippa addict and this is my favourite doll beacause... some were long some short some hysterical .. some aaah's also ..
my favourite doll was my one and only! .. Julieanne re root .. very special .. in a coveted Peg outfit
I met new people and a seamstress! .. (carol) .. said she thought my sewing was very good and she was impressed *swoon* .. that to me is such a compliment as it is only this last few years i have been creating for pippa that i have learned to sew ..

we did our pippa nerd quiz with the wonderful Caroline .. in her snazzy jacket! and NEW amazing hat! ..i am so useless at dates for pip! ask me how many buttons on a particular dress i am there ! sigh but i did get 11 out of 15 so not bad!! maybe little help from me friends *coughs* .. lol ..

first round of prize table ..wow so many gorgeous things .. to just drool over and want! NEED .. i bagged myself a pair of wonderful shoes by Karen they are simply amazing ..little leaves oohh just stunning i was so lucky ...
then it was time for convention doll ... i love love love giving them out .. i love to see people faces .. we have a team we get together and we all create a small piece of the master piece (and she is)..
this is an amzing honour and pleasure to be heading this team and get to give them out .. it affords me the most wonderful feeling , i make people smile!! ..

they were amazing and they were loved again ! woo hoo another triumph! .. can we do better next year ? always the challenge ..

then this amazing group that i found via a love of pippa astounded me and made my blub! .. i never thought i was a blubber ...little did i know ..
Mandy and me been talking for about 5 years i think about making a book ... she keeps telling me people would love a crazy daisy book ..i say nahhhhh .... dont be daft .. and i am useless at organsing myself .. i am not a buisness person by any stretch..... of anybodys imagination!!
anyhoo ..she said to head chief sitting pippa one day what do you think about ......... and they got together on this project ..and many people colluded with pics and they all presented me with this amazing book ..i have to tell you it looks like a book i would buy for my coffee table!! its stunning
its a Crazy Daisy custom doll book ..me .. Tracy Farrant .... wow . this lovely bunch of people i am so pleased to call friends .. ok tears are welling! sorry for soppyness .. but really when a group of people get together and do something for you like that , that they thought of you ..( stops to wipe eyes and red nose) .....well somebody said you can live a lifetime and not feel something that much in one moment .. i did ... i am still a little in shock ... and cant stop picking this book up ..
they all signed the inside for me with lovely messges .. a treasured item to hold dear for the rest of my life ..

after all my tears and some truly awful pics somebody took of me with my camera ok some are ok ..but some i am never showing to anybody!!! remind me never to blub on camera again! ..
we had the rest of the prize giving and i got some amazing wonderful things which i will show ya later .. and then if this was all the excitement you could have ..goodie boxes came .. blimey .. its like christmas pippa !!!!people are so good so kind so generous to our convention ..those who attend and those who donate .. it does take your breath away .. the doll world is a very special place ..
at 6 .... well Vicky was not allowed by Shirley to open a package till then!!
she won a charity auction a custom makeover by the wonderful curly wurly shirley .. in aid of comic relief ..( we thought it was it was the end of the world!) .. hmmm ..but when she opened it was a beautiful doll with a bun ..Shirley does the most amazing buns and she was just gorgeous .. and do you know i have wanted one for a while ..so i said Shirley ..i keep meaning to ask you ..to make me one, can you please make me one!!! .. the reply was well funny you should say that ...
and pressed a doll with a bun into my hands . .. present for me ....all too much . she is adorable and i now have two Shirley dolls .. thank you so much Shirley .. x i have been the most spoilt pippa this weekend ... and i dont think i will ever forget such a day ..
i am sorry this is an essay ..but needed to get it all out before i went to sleep after this amazing weekend ...i dont usually know what to write ..
i will post some pics tomorrow ..to show all the wonderful things that happened this weekend

so been a wild week with highs lows and just emotional roller coaster .. had to share

Monday morning ..!

It is a little madness here .. Its mostly pippa convention time so i have 30 odd dolls to complete box up and have ready to leave Friday! .. convention is this weekend woo hoo .. cant wait ..
i have broken back of this weekend, made myself a little unwell! but can relax a little now. Claire came round this morning so we had some lovely pippa yaking and we sat checked gals and bagged and tagged them so yay! i have four still to complete but its for the main part done .. and she looks so scrummy , everybody did a knockout job as usual i can't wait to hand them out /...sooooooo excitied .. i think you will all be blown away .. i will put up pictures of how why who what where and definately when!! hehe ..

also i completed communion doll and she went home and was given as gift to Katrina on her day ..i got a lovely pic of her holding her doll , how lovely is that!! .. thank you so much Nicky
i am adding a pic of her completed and Katrina with her gal .. i do feel smiley today!

now to do my own stuff .. haha . ooh er mrs!!! i have a lot to do yet .. but now with a chilled head ..

Communion pippa doll

I was asked by Nicky to make two special dolls ..one each for her little girls for their communion. Katrina has her day next saturday so i have been working to create this special doll
Nicky sent me pics of Georgina dressed in outfit so i could make as near to as poss
I was also asked for double french plaits .(faints*) ...
pics show outfit on Georgina and pippa with my version of outfit ..i still have to add makeup and steam hair down a little .. ooh and add ribbons! ..

Garden update!

we are nearly there with first phase of garden change! from bare patch to raised bed and new patio .. its lovely area to sit and when i get table and chairs with lovely umbrella i can sit and work out there , cant wait ..

custom fairy outfits

i was asked for a fairy outfit for pippa ..i created several

busy week

Its been hectic end of week and beginning! some internet issues lovely jubbly!
Work in the garden has stepped forward though and looking good ..

i have completed a couple of gals .. Suga got an outfit, Hailey .. has a funky trouset set and eloise .. is mysterious ..










Suga is a pink silk overlayed with vintage tulle, its beautifully soft drapey tulle and worked well .. i made a black silk bag and choker with added pink diamontes to add a little bling!

Hailey has a fab patterned soft print cotton .. flared trousers small top with gathered tops, diamonte flowers in browns and gold she has a little black bag to match and a tie for her hair ..this is pinned in so easy to remove

Eloise is something a little differnt .. she had issues around her eyes which I could not remove so she sports a mask painted on with diamontes round and teardrop shaped
very dramatic! her outfit is a fitted top using a checquered coton print and white .. i added small red diamontes in a heart shape .. white and black silk chiffon skirts and boots to match
she holds a rose in her hand and one is sported in her hair ..
she also holds a baton!! ..
