Trying new things .. the world has moved on

Having been lost in wilderness for a couple of years i find so much is the same so much is different ..and i have not moved one inch ! ..
My friend Chris got me looking on pinterest  . ok that swallows up a lot of time ..but ... its fun too , i have collected a few pins , WOW there is so much talent hidden in the world .. its just amazing to see what people do

working away this is the doll i am working on .. she has been re rooted with a soft brown and titian under ..
i have bobbed her hair ..  .i worked half on her outfit .so its not finished ..i need to make collar of some sort , I am debating what to make ... she need a top i know ..  .I wanted to make this for the accessories too so i made them today .haha i had fun .. never really tried to make small cases etc .. i am pleased for my first attempt ..

 She has a little way to go yet .. but looking ok ..
better get back to sorting her out ..xxx

work well convention time is creeping up ..so in "what we going to do stage " .. or maybe further we have design now making ...
i also have several ladies to do  ,, i will add pics as i go along ..
my head is just spinning from creating site ..

It has been a strange month ..i finished a couple of projects .. communion pip is now complete, practical magic girls are ready .. and a secret parcel was sent off ..i have to wait to post pics of them!! 

This year seems full and you know when little stuff keep's going wrong! ..that's me!! grrrr just a little one

ok I did not do so well this year ! i forgot to take pics of dolls i took ! i had 4  i thought i will get time at convention to take some ...right ... too high to away with fairys so i am nabbing pics here and there .. bad me  not so close and i am waiting for some pother pics will add as i get them ...

this was a longlocks and i was personally pleased with her .. i think she came up a little more edgy than my normal dolls ..haha funny i know but i always seem to do pretty she seemed a little different so very chuffed ....

this little lady was a donation to prize table from  me and Nicolette ..

aww convention is over for another year  sob** .. it was a busy one this year i got tied up a little with convention doll, she had to be special to celebrate pippa's 40th birthday  

My good friend Karen spoke to me last year and said she would like big part in the making of convention dolls this year .. i smiled and tried not to be too excitied , not daring to ask 

near to time to make the team up we spoke and maybe shoes ..woo hoo .. wow ...i wet my knickers! ..i am a Karen *shoes* addict ! ... she cant do 30 odd pairs of shoes for us surely .. BUT she did and they are so beautiful so for me we all had a gift of our beautiful convention doll plus a special birthday gift 

I think the team  did an amazing job, Suey , Janet & Elaine made the corset style dress which was a lot of work ! all pippa's little extras were so beautiful .. it was just so jam packed
